Family Photographer

Family sessions are time for your family to shine.  No need for stress.  They should feel easy and relaxed.

I want you to walk away and say: Hey, that was kinda fun.  Because if you enjoyed the session, you will like the photos that much more.

Kids are so real in pictures and I love capturing their personalities.  Plus, kids are just plain fun and awesome.  Even during family sessions, I will take individual pictures of your kids because they are the ones who change quickly and capturing them this year is my goal.

Maternity Photography

Maternity sessions are really a time for you to proudly display the work you've done to grow your baby.  You may choose a session of just you, you and your partner, or adding any other members of your immediate family, including furries. Remember, these are the moments that are changing your lives forever.

Maternity sessions are best done around the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy.  Please note: if twins are expected or you have expectations of the baby coming early, please schedule accordingly.

Dog photography is the reason I started Wild Iris Photography.  When I was pregnant with my second child in 2015, my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Marty, was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. It was very important to me to have pictures of Marty.

I've come a long way from taking pictures of Marty to now.  I'm interested in capturing your dog in places and people your dog loves best.  I'd love to be the photographer to capture your canine companion and your love for each other.

Please note, all dogs were safely walked with collar or harness and leash.  All was removed in editing to showcase the beauty of the dog.

Pet Cancer Photography

In 2021, I joined the organization The Tilly Project.  The Tilly Project's mission is  "to connect pet owners with end-of-life pet photographers across the world, and to provide accessible, educational, and supportive resources for photography, anticipatory grief, and pet loss/bereavement."

I aim to gift these sessions free of charge to families who are anticipating goodbyes.
